Digitally-remastered gay classic films JUICE and DADDY DEAREST now streaming

For Immediate Release:

SAN FRANCISCO — (June 20th, 2025) — Five years following the restoration of Passing Strangers and Forbidden Letters by pioneering filmmaker Arthur J. Bressan, Jr., two final erotic feature films by the late filmmaker DADDY DEAREST (1984) and JUICE (1985) have been digitally restored in beautiful new 2K scans and are now available streaming world-wide on PinkLabel.tv.

DADDY DEAREST (1984)
Edward Thompson (Daniel Holt) is a gay filmmaker hard at work on his latest triple-X epic: the story of a pair of college buddies (Dean Johnson and Andrew Dupree) wanting to hook up with an older daddy (Richard Locke) called Fuck Me, Fuck Me, Daddy! But as shooting gets underway, Edward finds his happy memories of his ex (Johnny Dawes) and his private fantasies of the couple he peeps on (Jan Boscamp and Robert Vega) bleeding into the action happening on set.

The concluding chapter in the trilogy started by Passing Strangers and Forbidden Letters, Daddy Dearest is a lighthearted but provocative exploration of fantasy, memory, and cinema.

JUICE (1985)
Jim Bennett (Michael Christopher) is a photographer with serious artistic aspirations—much to the chagrin of his editors (Eric Ryan and Jeremy Scott) at JUICE, New York’s hottest gay magazine. Tasked with finding and photographing more scintillating subjects by the end of the weekend or losing his job, Jim sets off on a 48-hour odyssey through New York’s porn theaters and gay bars, encountering everyone from an angelic jogger (Vincent Thomas) to a pair of opera queen leathermen (Butch La Cross and Jeff Stone) in the process.

The final erotic film from Arthur J. Bressan, Jr., JUICE is a playfully sophisticated satire of the age-old tug-of-war between respectable art and pornography with a climax—literally—that has to be seen to be believed.

No other filmmaker better embodied the spirit of the gay liberation movement than Arthur J. Bressan, Jr. A true pioneer of queer cinema, his films fearlessly blurred the boundaries between the artistic, the erotic, and the cinematic—especially with his final two adult films, the critically-acclaimed Daddy Dearest and Juice.

Altered Innocence and the Bressan Project are proud to present these two classics of gay erotica, newly restored in 2K from their original film elements, streaming world-wide on indie adult film platform PinkLabel.TV.

About Arthur J. Bressan Jr.
Of the pioneers of independent gay cinema in the 1970s and ‘80s, Arthur J. Bressan, Jr. is best known for his devastating 1985 drama, Buddies (the first feature film about AIDS). Working across multiple genres including documentary, narrative, adult and short form filmmaking, Bressan’s boldness and artistry as a writer-director earned him both acclaim and controversy over the course of his decade-long filmmaking career. Bressan’s adult films include Passing Strangers, a lyrical hardcore coming out drama which earned him the Best Director Prize at the 1974 San Francisco Erotic Film Festival and Forbidden Letters, which featured acclaimed performances from young Robert Adams and legendary daddy Richard Locke. Bressan died of AIDS in 1987. The majority of his films were long unavailable. The Bressan Project is currently undertaking efforts to preserve and make them available once again.
