While most gay/male porn membership websites cast only cisgender male performers, HeavenlySpire.com openly views the masculinity of diverse bodies which include trans-masculine models. Houston created the project to explore her personal attraction and curiosity about masculinity from the perspective of a queer woman of color. Accepting her award at the international ceremony held in Toronto, Houston acknowledged her interest in working with male models and commended her collaborator, photographer/videographer Tristan Crane, who works on the site with her. She dedicated the win to “all Feminists who love cock.”

Shine Louise Houston was be a special guest, along with Nica Noelle, Tristan Taormino, and April Flores. Pink & White stars Jiz Lee, Dylan Ryan, Trucker, Courtney Trouble, and Tina Horn were in attendance. The ceremonies happened April 8th and 9th in Toronto, Ontario and were presented by the awesome Canadian sex toy retailer Good For Her.

Shine Louise Houston won the “Visionary” award. Pink & White star Jiz Lee was awarded “Boundary Breaker”.

If the Feminist Porn Awards sound familiar, Shine’s films have received numerous awards at the Canadian Feminist Porn Awards presented by Good For Her, a female-friendly sex toy company in Toronto. This was the first time Europe has had a Feminist Porn Awards event, presented by Sexclusivitäten. Shine was honored as a porn pioneer for her work, along side other notable directors Candida Royalle, Annie Sprinkle, Maria Beatty, and Petra Joy.

Pink & White Productions was awarded “Steamiest Trans Scene” for Crash Pad Series Volume 2: Unlocked, and MOVIE OF THE YEAR for Champion! Our very own Dylan Ryan won Heartthrob of the year, and noted Pink & White stars also took home trophies: Courtney Trouble (NoFauxxx.com) won “Most Deliciously Diverse Cast”; Ian Sparks (Trannywood Pictures) won an honorable mention for Couch Surfers: Trans Men in Action, and Madison Young won “Hottest Kink Movie” as well as the prestigious “Indie Porn Pioneer” honor.
